After 3 yrs of Modi govt, 61% people 'happy'; Here are key points of survey

New Delhi: On Tuesday, BJP marked three years of coming to power at the Centre. The Modi government, in these years, either met or exceeded expectations of 61% of the people surveyed while 59% felt it was on track to fulfil pre-poll promises, said a survey by LocalCircles, a citizen engagement platform. The survey is based on over 2,00,000 votes collated from over 200 places, which included tier-I, II and III cities as well as rural areas. However, the survey report added that the number of those dissatisfied with the Modi government has increased by three per cent. Some of the key points of the survey are:

• 61 per cent people said, in the last three years, the government has met their expectations.
• About 17 per cent people said, in the last three years, the government has exceeded their expectations.
• Nearly 44 per cent people said that the government performed on the expected lines.
• 39 per cent said that the PM Narendra Modi government's performance was below expectation.
