According to ANI report, the anti-sabotage check was carried at all terminals of IGI Airport, access control, vehicle checking at entry nakas and patrolling of the AOR were intensified. BTAC was also convened.

A similar threat message was received in the recent past with the same names of the couple and on the similar language of the threat. Taking a note of repeated threat, the Delhi police has been asked to probe the threat messages.

It must be noted that the incident came hours after Mumbai Police Control Room received a phone call on Friday night threatening that bombs have been placed at four locations across Mumbai, including Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Byculla Station, Dadar Station and residence of actor Amitabh Bachchan.

After search and probe, it was found to be a hoax call however, heavy police deployment has been put in place at all the mentioned location.
