Actor Armaan Kohli arrested by Mumbai police for assaulting live-in partner Neeru

Armaan had been reportedly missing after Neeru filed a complaint of physical assault against him about a week ago at Santacruz police station in Mumbai.

NEW DELHI: Bollywood actor Armaan Kohli was arrested from Mumbai's Lonavala on Tuesday by Mumbai Police for assaulting live-in partner Neeru Randhawa. The actor will be produced in the court tomorrow. Armaan had been reportedly missing after Neeru filed a complaint of physical assault against him about a week ago at Santacruz police station in Mumbai. Previously, a case has been registered under sections 323, 326, 504 and 506 against the 46-year-old actor-tuned-businessman. Armaan and his girlfriend were said to be in a live-in relationship since 2015. Neeru Randhawa, in an exclusive interview to ABP News, explained how traumatic her relationship was with the actor. Narrating about the incident, the 35-year-old said that the assault began while discussing about Armaan’s villa in Goa which she manages.  “A client had made the payment of Rs 63,000 to the villa staff. Armaan asked me about the money, she told him that she will ask the staff to transfer the amount to him. Hearing this he became angry and started physically assaulting me. He kicked me and I fell on the floor. He then smashed my head to the floor.” Kohli has appeared in several films like "Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani" and made his last big screen appearance in "LOC: Kargil" in 2003. He was last seen on superstar Salman Khan-hosted reality TV show "Bigg Boss" Season 7, where also he was accused of physically abusing a female co-participant.
