New Delhi: Bank employees in Odisha got a big surprise on Saturday when they discovered a 4-ft-long cobra hiding in the strong room. According to a report by the leading daily Times of India reports, some of the employees of IMMT branch in Bhubaneswar had gone to the room to get cash and found the snake hiding underneath the iron chest where the cash is kept.
Even though the presence of the snake caused a lot of panic among the staff member, they quickly informed the snake helpline. The report says that the officials then rescued the snake.

A similar bizarre incident had occurred in Uttar Pradesh where a teenager claimed that he has bitten by a snake 8 times in the past month. 17-year-old Yashraj Mishra from Rampur Village in the Basti district who also said that it was the same snake who attacked him and that he has managed to survive it and has no lasting effect. Mishra said that the same snake bit him seven times in the past one month, he was last attacked by the snake in the past week. His concerned parents have consulted doctors and snake charmers. The family is still trying to understand why the snake has targeted the boy. Meanwhile the teen now lives in fear of another attack.
