All five of them were burnt alive. Satish's mother and an infant were saved and have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Locals rushed to the spot after noticing heavy smoke and tried to douse to flames. Fire tenders also reached the site but could not save any of the five who died.

Satish's mother also sustained injuries after she tried to extinguish the fire and has been admitted to a hospital. District Magistrate Neha Jain also visited the hospital where Satush's mother was undergoing treatment.
A wedding program was held in the village and one member of the family had gone to attend it. The remaining seven members were at home when the fire broke out.
The incident comes almost a month after, a woman, Pramila Dixit, and her 20-year-old daughter Neha allegedly set themselves on fire on February 13 in their hut in the presence of police, district administration, and revenue officials who had come to the village to demolish encroachments on the "gram samaj" land in Kanpur Dehat district.
The incident created a massive uproar among people who demanded action against those guilty. Since then, opposition parties have been trying to counter the UP government. The Samajwadi Party said it would raise this matter during the session of the house to get their family justice.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ordered a magisterial inquiry into the death of the two women.
Police had booked 39 people, including a sub-divisional magistrate, four revenue officials and over a dozen of police personnel, on murder and other charges in the incident.
