Ford slashes price of Endeavour Trend up to Rs. 2.82 lakh

New Delhi: Ford India has slashed the prices of the Ford Endeavour to the tune of Rs. 2.83 lakh. The price slash has been a bit discreet, while it increased the prices of the Titanium variants only last month to up to Rs. 50,000. So, the price slash is made available only for the three Trend variants, while the Titanium variants get no price change. The last month’s price hike of Rs. 50,000 in the Titanium variants also hold, despite the price slash in the other Trend variants. The trims receiving the price slash are the 2.2 4x4 MT and 2.2 4x2 AT Trend variants. Both receive a price slash of Rs. 2.82 lakh and Rs. 1.73 lakh, respectively. The 2.2 4x2 MT, however, does not receive any price and so still retails at Rs. 25,00,800. The two of the 2.2 Trend trims receiving the price reduction will now be priced at Rs. 23,78,000. This will also make them the least priced trims of the Ford Endeavour. Among the 3.2 Trend trims, 4x4 AT gets a price slash of Rs. 1.73 lakh, having it cost Rs. 25,93,000. The Ford Endeavour gets powered by 2.2-litre and 3.2-litre diesel mills. The former churns out 158 bhp of power and 385 Nm of torque, while the latter makes 197 bhp of peak power and 470 Nm of peak torque. The 2.2-litre engine gets mated to optional 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions. The 3.2-litre mill is available only with an automatic transmission. Source: vicky.in
