Cruel: 2 days after rakhi, man strangles sister, sleeps beside her body for entire night

New Delhi: In an inhuman act, two days after rakhi, a man strangled sister at their northwest Delhi residence in Mukherjee Nagar, police said. The 28year-old woman was brutally killed by her brother. He stuffed a rolling pin down her throat and strangled her. The 10-year old son of the murderer witnessed the entire episode. He told police that the accused had assaulted her before the murder. What's even more shocking is that he then slept beside her body for the rest of the night in the jhuggi-jhonpri cluster. The 30-year-old accused has been arrested.

According to police, accused said he was trying to force his sister to swallow a medicine. The cops haven't ruled out a sexual angle in the murder. After her husband left her, the woman had been living with her brother for past few months. As per the police, the accused's wife too had left the house a few days ago, due to continuous arguments and fights.
