Meanwhile, Pfizer said that it will start a large study to test its coronavirus vaccine in children below 12 and selected a dosing regime for the trial.

Bihar Revises Covid-19 Death Toll, Confirm Over 9,000 Fatalities
COVID-19 death toll in Bihar was on Wednesday revised drastically upwards by the state health department which put the total number of fatalities caused by the pandemic at 9,429.
According to the department, which had till the previous day stated the number of deaths to be under 5,500, as many as 3,951 deaths have been added to the toll after verification.

Noida Metro Resumes Service, 1992 Passengers Take Ride On Day 1
Nearly 2,000 passengers on Wednesday took a ride on the Noida-Greater Noida metro which resumed service after a hiatus of over a month due to COVID-19 curbs, officials said.
The total ridership on the Noida-Greater Noida Metro stood at 1,992 on Wednesday, a Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) official said.
