Class 9 Student Dies Of Heart Attack At Jaipur School

A Class 9 student died due to cardiac arrested after he collapsed at his school in Jaipur on December 19.

A 14-year-old Class 9 student, Yogesh Singh' succumbed to cardiac arrest after he collapsed at his school in Jaipur on December 19, news agency IANS reported. The tragic incident unfolded as Yogesh was on his way to his classroom and suddenly collapsed on his teacher.

He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital but despite all efforts, he could not survive. His body was handed over to his family after a post-mortem examination was conducted.

Head Constable Manoj Kumar of the Kardhani police station told the agency that the school took immediate action and promptly responded to the situation by rushing the student to the nearby hospital from where he was then referred to the SMS Hospital.

He added that a probe by the police did not find any indication of foul play in the matter and the initial findings hinted at The police probe confirmed that there were no indications of foul play in the tragic incident and that the initial findings hinted at cardiac arrest as the most likely cause behind the death. Samples obtained from the victim are also been examined.

School official, Vinod, said that Singh was dropped at theThe article school by his elder brother on the morning of the tragic incident.

"He was heading to his classroom where some students had come and some were still coming. He fell on his teacher, who was standing at the classroom's door," he said.
