Gyanvapi Mosque Case: Varanasi Court Reserves Verdict, Decision Likely Today
The verdict in the Kashi Vishwanath temple-Gyanvapi mosque case in Uttar Pradesh is expected to come today as the district court of Varanasi on Monday completed the hearing of arguments in the Kashi Vishwanath temple-Gyanvapi mosque case in Uttar Pradesh and reserved its decision until tomorrow. A total of 3 petitions have been filed in the court, on which the court hearing was heard. District Judge Dr. Ajay Kumar Vishvesha conducted the hearing. The hearing in the court lasted for about 30 minutes. The mosque committee needs the "maintainability" case to be heard first, and the court will decide tomorrow assuming it'll acknowledge that request.
PM Modi's Visit To Japan -Day 2
On his second day of visit to Japan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the Quadrilateral summit with US President Joe Biden, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.
Later the Prime Minister will hold a bilateral meeting with US President Joe Biden on the sidelines of the Quad summit.
Delhi Government To Launch 150 New Electric Buses On Tuesday
Passengers will get the facility of free travel for three days from May 24 in the electric buses of Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) aimed at encouraging people to promote e-buses, said DTC officials.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will flag off 150 electric buses from the Indraprastha depot today.
"Delhi is going to equal the national record of inducting the most number of buses by inducting 150 electric buses into its public fleet tomorrow. Any person can travel for free in these buses for the coming 3 days from May 24 to 26," the Delhi government statement said.
Delhi Reports 418 Fresh Covid Cases, 2 Deaths In Last 24 Hrs, Positivity Rate 4.96%
Delhi on Tuesday reported 418 new cases of Covid-19, 2 deaths, and 394 recoveries in the last 24 hours. With this, active Coronavirus cases in the national capital jumps to 1,841, with a cumulative positivity rate of 4.96 per cent, state health bulletin informed.
