Light Rains Forecast In Delhi On Independence Day
Due to rain in Delhi on Sunday afternoon, the mercury dropped by 2 degrees below normal. It is expected that rain may occur in some areas of Delhi on Monday morning as well. Strong wind with a speed of 30 kmph is also expected in the afternoon, due to which there may be some further drop in the temperature, said India Meteorological Department.
The weatherman has predicted a generally cloudy sky with light rain in the morning hours with strong surface winds (speed 20-30 kmph) on Monday.
The maximum temperature in the city is likely to hover around 33 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature around 26 degrees Celsius.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature of Delhi was recorded at 34 degrees on Sunday, which is 2 degrees below normal. The minimum temperature was recorded at 27.1 degrees Celsius. According to the department, Delhi recorded 0.2 mm of rain on Sunday.
Ola Electric Car Likely To Debut On Occasion of 75th Independence Day
Electric vehicle maker Ola Electric is likely to unveil its first electric car on the occasion of Independence Day. The company's CEO Bhavish Aggarwal has indicated by tweeting that the next product will be a car. The company's CEO Aggarwal took to Twitter and wrote, "Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost See you on 15th August 2pm!."
It is also speculated that the company may launch two new products at the August 15 event. "Two new colours? Two new features? Or two new cars? Find out in just 2 days!," tweeted Ola Electric.

All the eleven convicts sentenced to life imprisonment in the 2002 post-Godhra Bilkis Bano gang rape case on Monday walked out of the Godhra sub-jail after the Gujarat government allowed their release under its remission policy, an official said.
A special CBI court in Mumbai on January 21, 2008, sentenced the eleven accused to life imprisonment on the charge of gang rape and murder of seven members of Bilkis Bano's family. Their conviction was later upheld by the Bombay High Court. (PTI)
