Naveen Patnaik To Reach Balasore Today
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will reach Balasore today where Shalimar-Chennai Coromandel Express derailed on Friday night leaving 50 dead and over 350 injured. At least 10-12 coaches of Coromandel Express train, travelling from Howrah to Chennai, derailed and encroached on to the opposite track, which led to the derailment of 3-4 coaches of train travelling from Yeshwanthpur to Howrah, said Railway spokesperson Amitabh Sharma.
Teams of National Disaster Response Force, Airforce along with administration reached the spot for search and rescue operation and the injured were rushed to nearby hospitals.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced an ex gratia of Rupees 2 lakhs to the kin of deceased.
Manish Sisodia To Meet Ailing Wife
Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodi has been permitted by Delhi High Court to meet, in custody, his ailing wife at his residence.
Justice Dinesh Kumar Sharma directed the Tihar Jail Superintendent to take Sisodia, the former deputy chief minister, to his residence where he has been allowed to meet his wife from 10 AM to 5 PM.
Sisodia was first arrested by the CBI on February 26 for his alleged role in the scam and has been in custody since then. The high court has already denied him bail in the CBI case on May 30.
He was arrested on March 9 in the case lodged by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and is currently in judicial custody.

Maharashtra: NCB Held Drug Syndicate Kingpin From Mumbra On June 2
On June 2, NCB-Mumbai captured a drug cartel leader in Mumbra. The accused was found to have 130 gms of mephedrone.
