The book which is written as a first-person narrative perfectly encapsulates the ups and downs of falling in love with someone who has no control over her decisions but is just ready to live the best days of her life forgetting all the promises to her family. In the story, Sagar and Deeksha who hail from different parts of the country, meet in a bar and end up falling in love. Despite knowing that Deeksha will get married soon after her course is complete (even if it is against her wishes), Sagar still pours his affection on her. Having lost his parents at a very tender age, he feels ‘complete’ with her. Eventually, the sweet and memorable days come to an end and she leaves him with a farewell letter. However, in a twist to the story, she returns one day but under what circumstances is for you to find out. The vivid language and narration are what makes the story a must-read. The style of writing is very simplistic, and every scene is so charming that it leaves a smile on your face. Once you pick it up, you simply have to finish it at one stretch! The book will also engulf you in memories of your first school/college day love. And it also brings out the uncertainty of love, how it can happen when you least expect it and how even when your partner goes away, you always hope that she/he would return one day. The smile, laughter, and even sad days spent with loved ones is what gives positivity in life. This book will also remind you of a relationship in your life that you cannot explain in words as the plot is universal. Most of us have had a love story where a loved one has made you challenge yourself and grow. This, in fact, is the most memorable thing in one’s life. Even when you are separated, memories give you joy for a lifetime. By the end of it, you want more of Deeksha and Sagar and it makes you believe in the saying, “When you want something wholeheartedly, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.” I highly recommend this book and I know one will end up loving it.
