It's a delicate balance to strike, but when done well, it can result in a truly memorable and enjoyable film. Hats off to the 'Munjya' team for delivering the ideal blend of supernatural, horror, and comedy to captivate the audience.

Story:

The story begins in 1952, with a young Brahmin lad deeply smitten by Munni. Despite his family's disapproval, fueled by his mother's fury, he ventures into a perilous jungle ritual driven by his love for Munni. Tragically, the ritual goes awry, leading to his demise and burial beneath the very tree where it took place. Fast forward to present-day Pune, where Bittu (Abhay Verma), a bashful cosmetology student, resides with his mother Pammi (Mona Singh) and grandmother. Bittu harbors feelings for Bella (Sharvari Wagh) but struggles to express them. Amidst a family wedding, long-held secrets about the chetuk-baari and Munjya's origins surface.

Bittu's uncle unveils a chilling truth: his grandmother inadvertently triggered her brother's transformation into the malevolent spirit, Munjya. Now, Bittu must confront Munjya to save his family, even if it means sacrificing his grandmother. With Munjya targeting Bella, Bittu seeks help from Munni, Bella's grandmother, to pacify Munjya. With the aid of an exorcist, Bittu braces himself for a dramatic showdown to rescue Bella from Munjya's clutches.
