Crakk Review: Vidyut Jammwal Breathes Life Into This Action Drama With His Power-Packed Performance

"Crakk," starring Vidyut Jammwal, Arjun Rampal, Nora Fatehi, and Amy Jackson, offers a decent dose of action.

New Delhi: 'Crakk', starring Vidyut Jammwal, Arjun Rampal, Nora Fatehi, and Amy Jackson, offers a decent dose of action. The film is alright, but don't expect too much from it. However, if you're a fan of action movies and games like Squid Games, then this film is for you. Vidyut's action sequences alone bring life to the film. Arjun Rampal and Vidyut Jammwal's fight sequences attempt to breathe life into the film, and to some extent, they succeed. However, if you're buying tickets, think twice because apart from Vidyut, there's nothing much in the film.

Plot: The story revolves around two brothers who have a penchant for danger. Vidyut and his brother aspire to be part of the virtual gaming world of "Maidaan," which involves risking their lives. However, Siddhu (Vidyut Jammwal) sets out to prove himself in Maidaan after his elder brother, who had already lost his life in the game, leaving behind his dream unfulfilled. Dev (Arjun Rampal) controls the entire game of Maidaan. Patricia Novak (Amy Jackson) is a police officer who knows Dev's secret plan, and Siddhu gets trapped between them, determined to find out the reason behind his brother's death. Later, Siddhu gets a chance to play in the game, but he remains focused on uncovering the truth behind his brother's death and seeks revenge. Meanwhile, Aliya (Nora Fatehi), a social media influencer for Maidaan, falls in love with Siddhu (Vidyut) and chooses to support him in proving true love by leaving Dev. After three rounds of the race, Dev and Siddhu engage in a fantastic fight that wins everyone's hearts.

The film is decent; don't expect too much, but it's likely to boost Vidyut's fan following because when Vidyut and Arjun went shirtless, girls went crazy in the theater. However, if guys are going for Nora, her charm has diminished a bit, so don't keep Nora's 'Haye Garmi' image in mind.

Acting: Vidyut is the soul of the film; the action you expect from him will be showcased brilliantly on screen. Nora has limited screen time, and her expressions remain the same throughout. Meanwhile, Amy Jackson's acting might not be impressive, but her action scenes are fantastic. Arjun Rampal's acting seems a bit overshadowed by Vidyut, but he has portrayed his character well till the end.

Direction: Aditya Datt has directed the film, and for a film like "Crakk," Vidyut and the rest of the cast are a good selection, which only a good director can make. There are some unnecessary action scenes in the film, but still, Aditya has brought all the action that action lovers want to see.

Overall, the film should definitely be watched at least once.
