World Pharmacists Day was founded in 2009 by the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) at the World Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Istanbul, Turkey. FIP was founded on September 25, 1912. As a result, September 25th was designated as World Pharmacists Day.
