Lemon: Lemon has been touted as a miraculous cure for pimples. The citric acid property in lemon works as an antiseptic. Lemon juice helps in reducing the number of bacteria on the skin. It also helps you get rid of the rashes as well as it has anti-fungal properties. 

Honey: You can get rid of pimples by applying honey to the affected area. Honey has effective antimicrobial properties that help in preventing the growth of bacteria. The anti-inflammatory properties in honey, help cure redness, and swelling of the skin. Inflamed acne and pimples cause redness and swelling. Honey releases low levels of hydrogen peroxide that helps in disinfecting the skin. 

Turmeric: Turmeric has been used to cure pimples and acne because of its medicinal and therapeutic properties. Due to the presence of curcumin compounds, turmeric helps in getting rid of pimples. It has antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and anti-bacterial properties that help in inhibiting the growth of bacteria.

Aloe vera: Aloe vera has anti-bacterial properties and can effectively treat your facial scars or pimples. Its antifungal properties help treat skin inflammation. The magnesium lactate in the aloe vera plant helps to stop the itching caused by pimples.
