Adidas Takes Social Distancing Seriously, Launches One-Metre-Long Sneakers - Twitteratis React
Designed by Tommy Cash, the shoes happen to be the longest sneakers ever which look like an elongated version of clown shoes. What makes the pair of show more bizarre is that it comprises one black and one white shoe with at least 40 rows of lace holes.
Every now and then, the fashion world comes up with some wonder which becomes a little hard for the commoners to understand as it overthrows every bit of normalcy and this time the credit goes to Adidas. The European sportswear maker in collaboration with Estonian rapper Tommy Cash has launched one-metre-long black and white sneakers.
The footwear has been launched under a campaign named ‘Superstar’ under which Adidas has collaborated with musicians across the world to design their new range of footwear.
Designed by Tommy Cash, the shoes happen to be the longest sneakers ever which look like an elongated version of clown shoes. In an Instagram post earlier this week, the 29-year-old hip-hop artist said, "WHEN I SAID TO ADIDAS THAT I WANT TO MAKE THE LONGEST SHOE IN THE WORLD AS OUR COLLAB THEY WERE LIKE WTF TOMMY. BUT 5 MONTHS LATER HERE WE ARE."
Besides the size, what makes the pair of show more bizarre is that it comprises one black and one white shoe and features at least 40 rows of lace holes to keep the shoes secure to the feet.
Soon, the trend of the extra-long sneakers went viral on social media triggered a debate among Twitteratis over the wacky fashion. Check Twitter reactions here:
