Kerala Students Union Leads Protest March Demanding Justice For Wayanad Student's Suicide
JS Siddharth, a second-year BVSC student from Nedumangad on the outskirts of Thiruvananthapuram, was found dead by hanging on February 18.
Amid mounting tensions and demand for justice, Kerala Students Union (KSU) organised a protest march towards the secretariat on Tuesday as part of a state-wide bandh in connection with the suicide of 20-year-old at a college hostel in Wayanad on February 18. The victim JS Siddharth was found dead at the hostel of Govt. Veterinary College in Pookkode.

They are demanding CBI inquiry into the death of JS Sidhharth, a student in Govt. Veterinary College, Pookkode in Wayanad, was found hanging inside his college hostel on February 18. Police use water cannons to disperse them.
The KSU Wayanad District President Goutham Gokuldas fasted over the death of the student.

JS Siddharth, a second-year BVSC student from Nedumangad on the outskirts of Thiruvananthapuram, was found dead by hanging on February 18. The post-mortem examination indicated signs of severe harassment including multiple injury marks that were two to three days old along with an empty stomach suggesting possible deprivation of food during the three days prior to his death, according to a report from Deccan Herald.
