Kerala Students Union (KSU) — the students' wing of Congress — has organised a protest march alleging that the state police is charging fake cases against them. The student group started to march on Wednesday to Kalady police station.
In a tweet, news agency ANI said, "Kerala Students Union (KSU), the student's wing of Congress is organising a protest march to Kalady Police station alleging that Kerala Police is charging fake cases against them."

Earlier in November 2022, KSU activists held a protest at the Secretariate against the corruption charges on the universities in the state. The activists demanded the resignation of the Vice-Chancellors and a detailed investigation of appointments in the Higher Education Department.
