'It's Not Boycott', Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai Clarifies After Two BJP MLAs Give Assembly Session A Miss
He said will speak to both leaders
Karnataka BJP MLAs, Ramesh Jarkiholi and KS Eswarappa, from Gokak and Shivamogga constituencies respectively, were absent on the first day of the winter session in the Assembly. Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai clarified that the MLAs not attending the session is not a boycott. He said will speak to both leaders. But, CM Bommai claimed that Eshwarappa hasn't issued any statement on wanting to be a minister.
"It's not a boycott. After (KS Eshwarappa) got clean chit (in contractor death case), I discussed with high command(regarding his inclusion in cabinet). I will speak to them personally," Karnataka CM said as quoted by news agency ANI.
