VK Singh expresses grief loss of lives in IAF helicopter crash

New Delhi [India], October 06 (ANI): Minister of State (MoS) for External Affairs V.K. Singh on Friday expressed grief over the loss of lives in an IAF Mi-17 V5 helicopter crash incident, which left seven people killed.

Singh said, "There could be any reason behind the crash, either technical or climate reasons. We can't say anything until the investigation is completed."

The former Chief of Army Staff also added that it would not be right to make any predictions over the accident.

The unfortunate incident took place at around 6 am today near Arunachal Pradesh's Tawang Sector, bordering China, when the helicopter was on an air maintenance mission.

Mi-17 V5 chopper is a Russian helicopter which is considered to be one of the world's most advanced military transport helicopters. (ANI)
