Tourists flock to enjoy Vantawng falls in Mizoram

Aizawl (Mizoram) [India], Aug 10 (ANI): The magnificent Vantawng falls in Mizoram's Thenzawl village attracts tourists from all over the globe.

One must include Vantawng falls on a 'must to do list' while visiting Mizoram as the waterfall is one of the most spectacular and breathtaking of all in the region and country as a whole.

A resident, David zohmangaiha, said, "Vantawng falls is one of the most eye catching and mesmerizing waterfalls in Mizoram. You will feel happy and enjoy the most to experience the fall."

Located at a distance of about 130 kms from the capital city Aizawl, Vantawng falls in Thenzawl village of Mizoram's Serchhip district is the highest waterfall in the state and 13th highest in India.

A tourist from Nagaland, David, said, "Apart from the magnificent nature made waterfall, one can also enjoy the vast stretch of thick bamboo forest close to Thenzawl hill station. Travellers can even stay at the tourist lodges and get a taste of the authentic Mizo cuisines, which serves at the various food outlets nearby." (ANI)
