Amravati (Andhra Pradesh) [India], Jan 19 (ANI): Raising concern on the health conditions of children in the state, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday asked the officials to ensure that the underweight, anemic and malnourished children get healthy within a year.
"Underweight, anemic and malnourished children under the age of five should be taken care of. Efforts should be made to make them healthy in a year," Naidu said at the second day of the district collector's conference.
"By the end of the year, the state should be free of anemia and malnutrition and other health-related issues," he added.
He also stressed on the health condition of a pregnant woman and emphasised on providing a nutritious diet to them.
He also asked the officials to strive to achieve a 100 percent immunisation in the state.
