Five killed as car rams into tree

Palghar (Maharashtra) [India], Feb. 7 (ANI): Five people lost their lives after a car rammed into a tree in Palghar, near Patilwadi, early Wednesday morning.

The Volkswagen Vento car was on the way to Palghar from Mahim village when the driver lost control of the vehicle and it crashed into a tree, said a police official.

The incident happened around 4 am.

The bodies were severely damaged and efforts are on to retrieve them.

The five bodies were sent to a government hospital in Palghar for post-mortem, informed a police official.

Out of the five, three have been identified. (ANI)
