BJP Board meeting to be held tomorrow

New Delhi [India], Mar. 02 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Board meeting will be held at the party headquarters here tomorrow.

The party is likely to have a discussion on the upcoming biennial elections that is to be held for 58 Rajya Sabha seats, which are falling vacant on April 2, and the results of Assembly elections in the three northeastern states that went to polls last month - Tripura, Meghalaya and Nagaland.

Earlier on February 23, the Election Commission of India (ECI) released the schedule for the elections.

These elections are to fill the seats of members retiring in April-May 2018, including Union Ministers Ravi Shankar Prasad, Dharmendra Pradhan, JP Nadda, Thaawarchand Gehlot and Ramdas Athawale.

Meanwhile, the voting will take place on March 23. (ANI)
