Fight For WHO Post Heats Up Between Bangladesh And Nepal Ahead Of Nov 1 Election In India

Regional Committee of WHO South-East Asia Region will vote to nominate the next Regional Director in a meeting during its 76th session from Oct 30 to Nov 2. Both Dhaka and Kathmandu have urged New Delhi to vote for its respective candidates.

New Delhi: India will be faced with yet another geopolitical challenge later this month when the Regional Committee of the World Health Organisation (WHO) South-East Asia Region will vote to nominate the next Regional Director in a closed meeting from October 30 to November 2, in New Delhi.
