Türkiye was the G20 President in 2015, and the Leaders' Summit was held in Antalya on November 15-16, 2015. The Turkish G20 Presidency planned to concentrate on fostering more inclusive global growth, increasing investments, and successfully executing previous agreements. Its G20 Presidency goals were identified as three "I"s: inclusiveness, investment, and implementation.

During Türkiye's presidency, the G20 agreed on bringing down young unemployment by 2025, a series of policy proposals to address inequities, and the establishment of Women20 as a full-fledged engagement group to promote gender inclusive economic growth. These efforts helped to foster inclusive economic growth among G20 nations.

The Turkish G20 presidency was also focused on taking initiatives towards achieving global equitable economic growth. To that purpose, G20 Leaders agreed in Antalya on a framework to improve interaction between the G20 and low-income developing nations.

Furthermore, the Turkish Presidency prioritised development concerns on its G20 agenda, and G20 Leaders agreed on tangible initiatives on food security, the role of the private sector in development, and remittances.

Turkey also prioritised assisting SMEs, notably in terms of improving access to finance and improved integration into global value networks.

The Turkish G20 Presidency drew the Leaders' attention to issues of global peace and security, which are inextricably linked to achieving sustainable and equitable economic growth.

Addressing the fight against terrorism and refugee crisis, for the first time in G20 history, the leaders agreed on a strong declaration on combating terrorism, as well as the significance of solidarity and effective collaboration in addressing the refugee issue.

The other members of the G20 are --  Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Russia, South Korea, South Africa, the UK and the US, as well as the European Union.
