Suffering From Obesity In Old Age? These Lifestyle Changes Can Keep You Away From Heart Diseases

According to a report by the American Heart Association, obese people over the age of 65 should burn at least 200 calories a day by exercising.

New Delhi: After a certain age in life, one needs to take great care of his or her health. Following a healthy routine not only improves the health of obese elderly people but also helps them lead a healthy life. This is not just our opinion, but rather, these claims have been made in a American Health Journal.

According to a report in the prestigious American Heart General Magazine published by American Heart Association, you can protect your heart from diseases by making small lifestyle changes if you are obese after the age of 65.

According to this report, obese people over the age of 65 should burn at least 200 calories a day by exercising. 30 minutes of exercise can help you burn 200 calories.

The report says that you should exercise as per your body's capacity and that exercising four days a week relieves arterial stiffness (Aortic Stiffness) and keeps the heart healthy.

Tina Berkeley, professor at the Wake Forest School of Medicine, explained that exercising daily reduces the risk of arterial stiffness in obese people between the ages of 65 and 79. During exercise, the flow of blood intensifies in the body, thereby removing arterial stiffness in the heart and making it healthy.

People suffering from obesity must exercise at least four days a week to keep their heart healthy and to live a long life.
