Sony To Lay Off PlayStation Employees

Alongside this decision, the company revealed the closure of a division located in London, according to reports from Bloomberg.

The news came as Jim Ryan, the departing President and Chief Executive Officer of Sony Interactive Entertainment, addressed the staff on Tuesday, highlighting the imperative need for strategic changes to drive business growth and corporate advancement.
