'The Family Man 2' Gets Delayed, Here's When Manoj Bajpayee's Web Series Will Premiere

Amazon Prime Video’s ‘The Family Man 2’, which stars Manoj Bajpayee in a lead role, will premiere in summer of 2021. The action drama was originally slated to release on February 12. The makers Raj & DK took to social media to confirm that their much-awaited web series will get delayed.

The director duo promised to deliver a blockbuster season two after receiving an amazing response for the first part. They provided a big update about the release date of ‘The Family Man

“We know you have been eagerly waiting for the new season of The Family Man. We are truly grateful and humbled by all the love! We have an update for you. The Family Man Season 2 will premiere on Amazon Prime Video this summer! We have been working super hard to get you a kickass season. And we are pretty sure you will love it. Can’t wait to bring it to you,” the creators said in a statement.

The makers of the series had released a teaser to announce the release date. Earlier this month, they unveiled the trailer and promised to keep the audience hooked to their screens.

As ‘The Family Man’ season two was slated to premiere on February 12, fans expected the streaming giant to release the trailer this month. The leading OTT platform didn’t unveil the trailer which was enough to add fuel to the rumours which suggested that the series will get delayed.

Manoj Bajpayee and Priyamani will reprise their respective roles in the second season of ‘The Family Man’. Tinsel town diva Samantha will make her digital debut with the series. She is playing the role of Rajji, who will lock horns with Srikant Tiwari. The ‘Jaanu’ actress is the biggest addition to the already impressive star cast.

Seema Biswas, Sunny Hinduja, Darshan Kumar, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Mime Gopi and N Alagamperumal will also feature in the highly anticipated web series.

‘The Family Man’ revolved around the life of Srikant Tiwari (Manoj Bajpayee), an intelligence officer, who has to balance his professional and personal life. He has to safeguard and protect his motherland from a terror attack and also ensure that his family remains unaffected due to his highly demanding and secretive job.

Interestingly, Srikant Tiwaru will have to deal with Raji, who will act like a thorn in his path. The ardent fans of the series will have to wait longer as it will now premiere in 2021’s summer.
