Koffee With Karan S8: Ranveer Singh Reveals Getting Secretly Engaged To Deepika In 2015 In Leaked Promo

The 'Koffee with Karan Season 8' first episode trailer has been leaked online. On Thursday, October 26, the episode will premiere on streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar. 

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will feature in the first episode of 'Koffee With Karan Season 8.'

New Delhi: The 'Koffee with Karan Season 8' first episode trailer has been leaked online. Popular celebrity couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who are the guests, are all dressed in black, as is the host Karan Johar. On Thursday, October 26, the episode will premiere on streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar. 

As he welcomes "Bollywood royalty" Deepika and Ranveer for the first time on the Koffee sofa, Karan is seen forgoing all of his distinctive hues in the leaked teaser that is currently floating on X (previously Twitter). Karan describes the two actors as "smoking hot" as they sit next to one another, matching in black. Ranveer gives a hilarious reply as he says, "Thanks tharki (desperate) uncle."

Three years prior to their private wedding at Lake Como, Italy, Ranveer and Deepika were engaged in 2015, according to Karan, who inquires in amazement as to whether this is true. "2015, I suppose," nods Ranveer. He continues by saying that he didn't want to risk someone else proposing at that time, so he did it to Deepika. The power couple will show footage from their wedding in the episode.

When Karan asks Deepika in the infamous Rapid Fire round if she'd ever date Rocky Randhawa, Deepika responds that she's married to Rocky Randhawa, indicating how similar Rocky Randhawa is to Ranveer's real-life persona. Rocky Randhawa is a desi, flamboyant character from West Delhi that Ranveer plays in Karan's most recent film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. 

When Karan asks Deepika in the Rapid Fire who she has the best chemistry with in addition to Ranveer, she responds, "With Hrithik, which everyone is going to see." Ranveer and Karan are both surprised by her remark. On January 25, 2024, Sidharth Anand's action movie Fighter, which stars Deepika and Hrithik, is scheduled for release.
