Earlier during the IFFI 2022 awards ceremony, Nadav Lapid had criticised the Vivek Agnihotri film, saying it was "vulgar" and "propaganda" and had no place at the festival. ‘The Kashmir Files’ was chosen for the Indian Panorama Section and premiered on November 22. The jury, according to Lapid, was "disturbed and shocked" when they saw the movie being screened at the festival.

Released on March 11 this year, ‘The Kashmir Files’ is a heart-wrenching tale that captures the pain, suffering, and struggle of the Kashmiri Pandit community in 1990. The film managed to collect 340.92 crores worldwide and without a doubt, the film is the biggest film of this year.

Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, and Pallavi Joshi play the three main characters in the movie.

Apart from this, powerhouse filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri along with Pallavi Joshi is gearing up to shoot the ‘The Vaccine War’. The movie is touted to be a tribute to the support and dedication of the medical fraternity.
