TV Actress Registers FIR At Mumbai Police Station In Alleged Rape Case

The TV actress has filed a complaint at Oshiwara police station in Mumbai, accusing a man of raping her. The police have registered a case against the accused under several sections of the IPC.

A case of alleged rape with an actress has come to light. The victim, who is a Television actress, has lodged an FIR at the Oshiwara Police Station in Mumbai. The actress revealed that the accused has allegedly raped her multiple times on the pretext of marriage reportedly. Based on the victim’s statement, the Mumbai Police has registered a case against the accused under several sections of the IPC. They have further started investigating the matter.

According to a report of ANI, the victim has been raped on the pretext of marriage. The report read, “Maharashtra: An FIR registered at Oshiwara Police station in Mumbai, based on a TV actress' statement wherein she alleges that she was raped by the accused on multiple occasions on the pretext of marriage. FIR registered under multiple IPC sections. Police investigation underway.”

Also, according to the information received, the police have registered a case under sections 376 (2) (N), 406, 420, 504, 506, 323 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

The victim and the accused met in the year 2017 when they went for a shoot in Hyderabad. Earlier, they met on a matrimonial site. According to the FIR filed by the actress, the accused raped her on several occasions giving the former the pretext of marriage.
