'Tu Aashiqui' fame Ritvik Arora joins Shaheer Sheikh in 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' spin-off?

After Shaheer Sheikh, the makers of 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' spin-off has roped in 'Tu Aashiqui' fame Ritvik Arora as the other male lead.

The makers of top-rated Star Plus show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', featuring Shivangi Joshi & Mohsin Khan in the lead role of 'Naira' and 'Kartik' respectively, are all set to come up with the show's pin-off on the same channel. While talking to a leading daily, show's producer Rajan Shahi confirmed that 'Mahabharat' & Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi' actor Shaheer Sheikh has been roped in to play the lead role in 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' spin-off. (Photo: Web) According to an entertainment portal, 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' spin-off will revolve around the younger generation of  Maheshwari family (Akshara's family) The IWMBuzz report further states that TV actor Rivik Arora has been roped in for the other male lead’s role. For the uninitiated, 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' went on-air 10 years ago in 2009 with Hina Khan & Karan Mehra in lead roles. After being a part of 'Yeh Rishta...' for around 8 years, Hina & Karan quit the show post which Shivangi & Mohsin were introduced as the new leads.
