Mumbai: Star Plus’ ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ has managed to keep the viewers hooked on to their television with its drama-packed episodes. At a time when shows go off air within few months, ‘YRKKH’ has remained on air for over twelve years. The show starring Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi enjoys a significant fan following. 

We had earlier informed you that Shivangi and Mohsin would leave the show as the makers are planning to revamp ‘Yeh Rishta’. Sources told Saas Bahu Saazish that the duo will soon shoot for their last episode.  

Amid the rumours of Mohsin and Shivangi leaving ‘YRKKH’, their photos with show’s producer Rajan Shahi are going viral on social media. Rajan recently visited the sets of the show and met the cast and crew. 

The ace producer, who has delivered hit shows like ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ and ‘Anupamaa’, posted a series of pictures with Shivangi, Mohsin and other actors on his official Instagram. 

"Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai team spirit. We understand respect each other, 'No justifications, explanations. no balance sheets'. When we are sorted and stand 'together', we know we understand that it is 'Rishta'. Forever in and for life" Shahi wrote.

Shivangi and Mohsin can be seen flashing their million-dollar smiles while striking a pose for the camera.

‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ was launched in January 2009 with Hina Khan and Karan Mehra as leads. The two popular TV stars left the show after playing the respective characters of Akshara and Naitik for a long time. 

Shivangi plays the role of Hina and Karan’s on-screen daughter Naira in the daily soap while Mohsin is seen as her husband. Naira’s character was bumped off to spice up the ratings. The makers are yet to announce the names of the new leads of 'Yeh Rishta'.
