Vikas Sethi’s Wife Jhanvi Recalls His Passing And Final Moments: ‘When I Went To Wake Him Up…’
Actor Vikas Sethi, known for his roles in the hit television series 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', passed away in his sleep after a cardiac arrest.
Actor Vikas Sethi passed away in Nashik on Saturday night in his sleep after a cardiac arrest. He was known for his roles in the hit television series 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', 'Kahiin To Hoga', and 'Kasautii Zindagi Kay'. He was 48.
Jhanvi Sethi, Vikas's wife, says that they went to Nashik for a family function. The actor refused to go to the hospital despite having loose motions and vomiting. Vikas had a heart attack and passed away while sleeping.

“After we reached my mother's house in Nashik, he had vomiting and loose motions. He didn't want to go to the hospital so we asked the doctor to come home. When I went to wake him up at around 6 am in the morning (on Sunday), he was no more. The doctor there told us he passed away last night (on Saturday) in his sleep due to cardiac arrest,” she told PTI.

Through his supporting roles in hit TV series and films like ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’, Vikas Sethi became popular among viewers in the 2000s. Along with appearing alongside Arjun Rampal and Dia Mirza in the 2001 film ‘Deewaanapan’, Vikas Sethi also played a major role in the 2019 Telugu blockbuster ‘iSmart Shankar’.
Vikas Sethi's personal life
After having leg surgery in 2021, Vikas posted a video to Instagram. He said that even though the doctor had prescribed bed rest for a month and a half, he was determined to heal faster and more strongly. Vikas also promised to continue filming videos for his fans and hanging out with buddies.
On the personal front, Vikas Sethi was previously married to Amita, a cabin crew staff, and the two of them took part in ‘Nach Baliye’. After their divorce in 2017, Vikas was introduced to Jhanvi through mutual friends.
