Gaurav S Bajaj, who is making his TV comeback with Star Bharat's 'Meri Gudiya' with Aalisha Panwar, welcomes his first child with wife Sakshi.

After Kapil Sharma and 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya' actress Rucha Hasabnis, it’s to send congratulatory messages to popular TV actor Gaurav S Bajaj as he has become a father. The talented actor, who is best known for his roles in 'Uttaran' and 'Piya Rangrezz' and is returning to TV with Star Bharat's 'Meri Gudiya' co-starring Aalisha Panwar, welcomed his first child with wife Sakshi Shhorwani yesterday (December 11). Gaurav and wife Sakshi, who announced the pregnancy news with an adorable post, are beaming with joy as they have become proud parents of a baby boy.

Speaking about the same, Gaurav informed TOI that, "I flew down to Indore and went straight to the hospital. I was thrilled to see and hold my baby in my arms. Sakshi and I were waiting with bated breath for our bundle of joy to arrive and now that he has, we are on cloud nine. For now, we are calling him Junior Bajaj."

On the professional front, Gaurav made his small screen debut with ‘Sapnon Se Bhare Naina’ on Star Plus co-starring Pavarti Vaze. He later went on to do shows like 'Kaisa Yeh Ishq Hai... Ajab Sa Risk Hai', 'Siddhi Vinayak' among others. The TV actor, who played the role of Aman in Colors TV’s ‘Uttaran’ opposite Tina Datta, is also excited for his new show 'Meri Gudiya' which is slated to hit the TV screens from December 16 at the time slot of 8pm.
