Tunisha Sharma Suicide: Mother Vanita Sharma Debunks Claim That The Actor Left Sizable Property To Her

Tunisha Sharma's mother Vanita Sharma dismissed claims that the actor has left her a reasonably large property.

New Delhi: On the set of her tv show 'Ali Baba: Daastan-E-Kabul', actor Tunisha Sharma was discovered dead on December 24. Following a complaint by Tunisha Sharma's mother Vanita Sharma, her ex-boyfriend and co-star Sheezan Khan was taken into custody on suspicion of aiding in suicide.

The late actor would have turned 21 today, and to mark the occasion, her mother addressed the media and recalled her daughter.

During the conversation, Vanita expressed her disdain at news reports that Tunisha was expecting a child at the time of her death and had left her mother a reasonably large property.

“She didn’t like shopping but she liked expensive products. I got her a diamond ring on her 18th birthday. She also got a big car even when we could have got a small one. She also wanted an Audi for herself,” she told Aajtak.

The mother also revealed that it was false that Tunisha had left a house for her because they had been living in a rental. The mother and daughter team, according to her, intended to purchase a home the following year. Beyond that, everything is financed through an EMI, including the car and Tunisha's laptop.

“I have always been like a shadow to her since childhood. Only when Tunisha turned 18, did I start sending her alone on set. I wanted her to be independent. I was also worried that if something happened to me, how would she survive alone,” Vanita Sharma said.

Since she was only in Mumbai to be with her kid, Vanita also said that she would be leaving.

Meanwhile, Pawan Sharma, Tunisha's uncle, has reported that the late actor discussed being forced to convert to Islam. During a recent news conference, Sheezan Khan's family and attorney made a number of claims, to which he was answering.

“Tunisha had shared this with her mother. There was a change in Tunisha's behaviour. It is not just her mom or family, who are saying this, but even the actors, who were working with her on the TV show, and her driver are saying it. The cops are investigating all the angles and we will support whatever the police finds out,” Pawan told Dainik Bhaskar.

Sheezan Khan, Tunisha's co-star and ex-boyfriend, was detained by police and is currently being questioned while in custody.
