New Delhi: Actor Tunisha Sharma died by suicide on the sets of her television serial. The actor's last rites were conducted on Tuesday at the Mumbai crematory on Mira Road.
As her final rituals were being done, the actor's mother Vanita Sharma broke down in tears. She passed out and was wheeled in a chair to her car. People were fanning Vanita and trying to stabilise her in a few photos from her daughter's final rites that surfaced online. She didn't wake up and a few individuals carried her while seated in a chair.
As per the priests who visited the late actress' home, Tunisha's funeral was held today from 3 to 5 p.m.
Vishal Jethwa, Ashnoor Kaur, Shivin Narang, Deepika Singh, and director Abbas Mustan were among the famous people spotted visiting Tunisha's home to offer their condolences.
Sheezan Mohammed Khan, the suspect in the suicide case involving the late TV actress Tunisha Sharma, was presented to the Vasai court on Sunday by the Waliv police. Sheezan was arrested and charged with violating Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code after a case of aiding suicide was brought against him.
Apparently, the actor has not yet provided a clear explanation for why he broke up Tunisha. The police reported on Tuesday that he has also frequently changed his statements. According to reports, actor Sheezan Khan also broke down in tears in front of a female cop while being questioned about the case.
On the Saturday set of her tv show 'Alibaba: Dastaan-e-Kabul', Tunisha Sharma was found dead. The actor appeared as the younger version of Katrina's character in the same year in another film - the Karan Johar-Farhan Akhtar movie, 'Baar Baar Dekho'. Thereafter, she appeared in TV serials and played bit roles in films.
