The Kapil Sharma Show 2 Vs Kanpur Wale Khuranas: Comedians divide into Team Kapil & Team Sunil Grover!

Comedy king Kapil Sharma is finally making a comeback on small screen with season 2 of 'The Kapil Sharma Show' on Sony TV and hopefully he stays this time since the last show 'Family Time with Kapil Sharma' on Colors went off-air withing a month of it's launch. Kapil saw a downslide in his career after his infamous mid-air fight with co-comedian Sunil Grover in March 2017 which resulted in the fallout between the two and thereafter many other comedians also quit TKSS. A little less than two years after, there were reports recently that the two might tie up for their return on TV but Sunil Grover just confirmed that that is  not happening. While Kapil's show TKSS2 is reportedly going on-air from December 23rd, Sunil also confirmed the news about his show with also revealing the whole cast. Sunil is gearing up to come with his own show called 'Kanpur Waale Khuranas' which will air on Star Plus on the weekends. And obviously he is joined by some comedians, three out of which are interestingly from Kapil Sharma's show. TEAM SUNIL Sunil shared a group picture of his show and we spot popular TKSS characters Naani(Ali Asgar), Twinkle(Upasana Singh) in it and Vidyavati(Sugandha Mishra) in it. Sugandha and Ali Asgar had boycotted Kapil's show in support of Sunil last year while it was still on-air. Two famous actors are also going to be part of 'Kanpur Wale Khuranas' and these are Bollywood actor Kunal Kemmu and 'Naagin' fame tv actress Adaa Khan. Kunal who has done a lot of comedy films and was loved by audience, is making his TV debut with this show. Adaa will reportedly play Sunil's wife. Little Divansh Dwivedi who's currently seen in 'Comedy Circus' is also the part of this family. Sunil wrote in caption with the pic: "Namaste from ‘Kanpur wale Khuranas’. Talking about the show, Sunil Grover told PTI, "I am happy to be back on the small screen with a fresh concept. This character is unlike any I've played before and I am very excited to embark on this journey of entertaining my viewers. The show is sure to charm everyone alike with a theme that resonates with the viewers and keep them hooked onto their television screens at night." And while we see that three comedians from Kapil's former show have sided with Sunil, here are the ones who stay with Kapil. TEAM KAPIL Kapil on the other hand had roped in the biggest comedians for his show which include his arch rival Krushn Abhishek too. His friends and co-comedians from 'The Kapil Sharma Show', Chandan Prabhakar(Chandu), Kiku  Sharda (Bumper Lottery/Santosh) and Sumona Chakravarti(Sarla Gulati) have always been supporting him and they are the obvious members of his new team. Childhood friend Chandan did get upset with Kapil initially but he returned to the show 3 months later, last year. Apart from Krushna Abhishek, Kapil will also have the comedy queen Bharti Singh joining her on the season 2 of 'The Kapil Sharma Show' - say reports. KAPIL VS SUNIL While the telecast date of Kapil's show is almost confirmed to be 23rd December, the on-air date for Sunil's show is yet to get out. The reports regarding the first guests appearing on both their shows have also been coming. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan will reportedly be the guest in Episode 1 of 'The Kapil Sharma Show season 2' which is produced by Salman Khan this time. Srk will promote his film 'Zero' which is releasing on December 21st. while 'Simmba' team Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan and Rohit Shetty will reportedly appear on the premiere episode of Sunil's show. 'Zero' poster 'Simmba' stars on the film set Sunil's how however will be like an year-end series that will last only two months. As source informed Indian Express- “The show will be a unique concept that will showcase the highlights of the year (2018). While Kunal will host the achievers of the year, Sunil, who plays his jija (brother-in-law) will entertain the audience with gags. Adaa Khan will play Sunil’s wife in the show. Ali, Upasana and Sugandha will also be part of their crazy family. The team has already started shooting and it will go on air sometime in December.” And Kunal Kemmu himself reveals that 'Kapoor Wale Khuranas' will be an eight week limited holiday special.
