Gurucharan Singh, best known for playing Roshan Sodhi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has been hospitalised. Taking to his official Instagram handle on Tuesday, Gurucharan updated his fans about his health. The actor is seen resting on a hospital bed.
Gurucharan Singh hospitalised
In the video shared by Gurucharan, we see the actor give a glimpse of his hospital room and add that is very unwell. He also showed a cannula that was in his hand. The actor is seen in a yellow and blue shirt wrapped up in a shawl.
The video begins with the actor saying, "Haalat bohot zaada kharab ho gayi hai ( My condition is getting worse). He also wished his fans for Gurpurab and continued, "My blood tests have been done. I will update you about my health soon. Haalat dekho (See my condition)." It is yet to be ascertained as to why the actor was hospitalised in the first place.

Gurucharan's disappearance last year
Gurucharan made headlines in 2024 after he went missing in April. He returned to his Delhi home and stated publicly that he had undertaken a 'spiritual journey' as he was undergoing personal and professional issues.
During the initial investigation, the police found out that the actor was operating multiple bank accounts for financial transactions and was using credit cards despite not being stable financially.
Gurucharan played Roshan in 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' until 2012 but returned in 2013 due to his fans' demand. He finally left the show in 2020 when Balwinder Singh Suri replaced him.
