Shubhangi Atre to show evil avatar on ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain'

Actress Shubhangi Atre, who is seen as the innocent and shy Angoori Bhabhi in popular comedy show "Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain" will be seen showcasing her evil avatar as Thakurain - a character inspired from actress Vidya Balan's role in 2007 film "Bhool Bhulaiyaa". "The role was extremely challenging for me as it was something I had never done before. My character had dialogues in Urdu which I had to learn. Since in the sequence it is shown that the character has a royal past, I had to act like a Thakurian which was a little tough. "Another challenge for me was to make my voice sound a little hoarse. My voice is very soft, but the character was very bold and strong. It sounds very different from how I do in real life. So, I had to practice for hours to get into the character," she added.
