Shoaib Ibrahim And Dipika Kakar Reveal The Name Of Their Newborn Son: 'We Were Very Sure About The Name'
Television couple Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim recently became parents of a baby boy. They have now revealed the name of their baby and have shared what it means.
New Delhi: Television couple Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim recently became parents of a baby boy. They have now revealed the name of their baby and have shared what it means.
Shoaib took to his official Youtube channel, where he shared a video titled: “Sharing Our Baby Boy’s Name With You All.”
The couple revealed that they had named their son Ruhaan Shoaib Ibrahim, meaning kind-hearted and spiritual. Without sharing a glimpse of their baby, the video featured their friends and family members.
The name was announced via bright lights given to each family member, who took turns and held the lit letters in front of them to reveal the name.
Making the announcement, they all loudly said Ruhaan. Shoaib shared that Dipika liked the name Ruhaan and she chose it.
Shoaib said that they chose the name within just months after Dipika conceived and that they had even thought of a name if they were to have a daughter, which they did not share on the vlog.
Shoaib said, “Our madam (Dipika) liked this a lot and she only thought and found the name. We liked it a lot and we were very sure about the name from the beginning.”
The couple was blessed with a baby boy prematurely on June 21. Dipika had an emergency C-section delivery and Ruhaan was in NICU for a few days.
The couple brought their baby back home from NICU 10 days after his birth. Shoaib posted a vlog on YouTube documenting the joy of bringing their baby home.
In the video, Dipika says, "I am very happy. Bohot sukoon hai ki ghar aa gaye hain (There is a lot relief that we are going back home). There is a different glow on my face today despite being sleep deprived. Shoaib and I haven’t slept at all."
Dipika, overwhelmed with the love her son is being showered with from their family, said, "As a mother, when you see everybody is so happy. I am overwhelmed with all the emotions after holding strong for so long. Also, he is very lucky as we keep saying that we are blessed for all the blessings and prayers you all have showered on him. As a mother, I can say thank you. All this wouldn’t have been possible without my husband’s support."
