Sheezan Khan's Family Alleges Tunisha Sharma Was 'Mentally Traumatised', Forced To Work
Sheezan Khan's family alleged that late actor Tunisha Sharma's mother disregarded her daughter's mental state.
New Delhi: Television actor Sheezan Khan's sisters, Shafaq and Falaq Naaz, held a news conference in Mumbai. The family alleged that late actor Tunisha Sharma's mother disregarded her daughter's mental state.
Televison actor Tunisha's mental health, according to Sheezan's sister, was neglected, and if it had received sufficient attention, she may have been alive. The actor allegedly suffered emotional trauma as a consequence of being forced to work since she was a young child.
"We went to meet Tunisha's mother and we wanted to improve their bond. She needed treatment for her mental health. Later, Tunisha and her mother came and asked for the doctor's number," Sheezan mother said.
Sheezan and Tunisha, according to the former's mother, were drawn to one another because he understood her trauma.
Additionally, Sheezan's mother stated that Tunisha was like a child to her and recounted an incident about how her mother had called her to take care of her daughter when she had a fever. In a text message, Vanita Sharma said that no one had ever taken such good care of her as they had.
"Tunisha was like a younger daughter to me. She's gone and I too want justice for her. But now, Vanita is after my son. What do you want, Vanita ji? Your daughter has committed suicide, do you want my son to commit suicide too? You are torturing him," she said in the press conference.
On December 24, Tunisha Sharma died by suicide. In the makeup room of her co-star and ex-boyfriend, Sheezan Khan, she hanged herself.
After being detained for allegedly aiding Tunisha Sharma's suicide, Sheezan's judicial custody has been prolonged for a further 14 days. On December 26, he was taken into custody by Waliv Police in the Palghar district.
