Vineeta recreated the funny scene from the movie 3 Idiots where Raju's mother can be seen cribbing about the soaring prices of Bindi (lady figures), paneer (cottage cheese) and gold.
New Delhi: Vineeta Singh, one of the Sharks on Shark Tank India and Co-Found & CEO Of SUGAR Cosmetics, has recently responded to a viral meme comparing her to Amardeep Jha, the actress who played the character of Raju Rastogi's mother in the movie 3 Idiots.
Giving it back to trolls in a unique way, Vineeta recreated the funny scene from the iconic movie where Raju's mother can be seen cribbing about the soaring prices of Bindi (lady figures), paneer (cottage cheese) and gold.
In the video shared by Vineeta and SUGAR Cosmetics on social media, the Shark can be seen stepping into the shoes of Raju's mother and giving it a unique twist.
The video starts with a SUGAR employee coming across a meme featuring Vineeta while checking his social media. He later goes to Vineeta's cabin to get some approvals on budget. In the next scene, video turns black and while (as shown in the movie) and instead of addressing the employee by his name, Vineeta says, "Haan haan beta aao. Kahaan the tum (Yes, son come. Where were you?)".
Listening to her remarks, the employee gets shocked and takes aback.
Gaining some courage, the employee then asks Vineeta if she could give him some budget approvals. To which, she says: Paise kya ped pe ugte hai? Tumhe pata hai bhindi Rs 12 ki hogayi hai. Aur paneer toh sone k daam pe bik raha hai (Does money grow on trees? Ladyfinger is Rs 12 now. Cottage cheese is being sold at the price of gold)."
The employee then leaves Vineeta's cabin and goes to his seat. Moments later, Vineeta comes to his seat to him asking if he was doing well. She next looks at the camera and says, "All is well." As the video ends the words, "Confused? Dil pe haath rakh ke bol aal izz well (Say all is well from your heart)!"
Vineeta even shared the video on Twitter and captioned the post, "All is not well! Stop with the photoshopping, Team @trySUGAR."
