Shark Tank India 2: Amit Jain Takes A Jibe At Namita Thapar, Calls Her ‘Husband Beater’
'Shark Tank India' judge Amit Jain jokingly calls Namita Thapar a 'husband beater'.
New Delhi: Amit Jain, one of the judges of 'Shark Tank India' season 2, made a 'joking' remark about Namita Thapar and her spouse on the recent episode. Meanwhile, Anupam Mittal of Shaadi(dot)Com suggested that they should leave personal issues at home.
The three started joking around when Abhay Sharma and Smaritika Sharma, two siblings, appeared on Shark Tank India season 2 to promote their line of safety products called Smart Stick Guardian. The team was providing gear for explorers under the brand, including tasers, SOS alerts, and flashlight. The devices were designed for usage in the wild. It was also shown that animals receive a mild jolt from the taser but are unharmed.
Namita jokingly questioned the pitchers, "Ye koi misuse nahi kar sakta kya apne husband ya kisi aur par? (Can’t someone misuse the taser on their husband or anyone else?)."
Amit Jain, a co-founder of CarDekho, then made fun of Namita Thapar by jokingly referring to her as a "husband beater." Anupam Mittal from Shaadi(dot)Com participated in the apparently lighthearted banter, adding,"Ghar ki baat ghar mein rakha karo, yaha kya bata rahi ho national TV mein! (Leave household issues at home. Why disclose on television?)"
