'Pyaar Ka Dard Hai' Co-Stars Nakuul Mehta & Disha Parmar To Play Leads In 'Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2'?

Contrary to the rumours, Divyanka Tripathi and Devoleena Bhattacharjee are not playing the female lead in 'Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2'.

Mumbai: Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar, who managed to win hearts with their sizzling chemistry in ‘Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara’, are all set to reunite for a new show. TV Czarina Ekta Kapoor is gearing up to launch the second season of her popular drama ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain’ soon. The first season featuring Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar emerged as a massive hit amongst the viewers.

If a recent report in an entertainment portal is to be believed, Disha and Nakuul will work together once again post their stint in ‘Pyaar Ka Dard’. Yes, you read that right!

The makers have finally roped in Disha Parmar to play the lead role in ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2’, the report in SpotboyE said. She will be seen romancing Nakuul Mehta in the romantic drama, which is expected to hit the airwaves in the upcoming two months.

‘PKDHMMPP’, which premiered on Star Plus in June 2012, focused on the story of Aditya and Pankhudi. The show went off air after a two-year successful run on the small screen.

Why Divyanka Tripathi Said No To ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2’?

The ‘Yeh Mohabbatein’ actress, while interacting with her fans during an Instagram live session, confirmed that she was approached for the show. The ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 11’ contestant revealed that she rejected the offer as she couldn’t relate to the character.

Divyanka also said that she would have looked older than Nakuul Mehta and hence, she said no to Ekta, with whom she worked in ‘YHM’.

Speculations were also rife that ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’ fame Devoleena Bhattacharjee would play the lead role in ‘BAHL 2’. The ‘Bigg Boss 13’ contestant never reacted to the rumours floating on the internet.

Talking about Disha Parmar, the ‘Woh Apna Sa’ actress will make her comeback to TV screens after three long years. She tied the knot with Rahul Vaidya on July 16 in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai.
