Kumkum Bhagya: After Vin Rana, Mishal Raheja, Leena Jumani & Shikha Singh to QUIT the show?

New Delhi: Zee TV’s popular show ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ starring Shabbir Ahluwalia & Sriti Jha has managed to keep the viewers hooked on to their television sets with its drama packed episodes. The show is doing quite well on the TRP charts despite competition from other daily soaps on rival channels. The makers of the show are all set to introduce a generation leap in the next few weeks. As is the norm in TV industry, actors usually don’t prefer to age on-screen until the role is meatier. Gossip mills are buzzing with the rumours that Mishal Raheja, Leena Jumani, Shikha Singh and Ruchi Savarn will quit the show. Vin Rana, who plays the role of Purab, had also conveyed his decision of leaving the show to the production house, according to reports. A report in an entertainment portal suggested that Mishal, Leena and Shikha along with Ruchi Savarn don’t wish to age on-screen and they have taken the decision to bid adieu to ‘Kumkum Bhagya’. Leena Jumani, who essays the role of Tanu, confirmed that she is quitting the show. ‘’Yes, I am quitting the show, as I am not comfortable playing an ageing role,’’ Leena told Tellychakkar. Except for Shabbir Ahluwalia & Sriti Jha, the entire star cast of KKB is expected to move out. After the generation leap, the show will focus on Abhi and Pragya’s twins.
