New Delhi: TV Czarina Ekta Kapoor is all set to launch the second season of ‘Kavach’ on Colors channel. The show will star popular small screen actress Deepika Singh Goyal and Namik Paul in lead roles. The makers of the show have released the first promo on social media and it has received a good response from the fans. We had earlier informed you that ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ actress Shirin Sewani and 'Sitara' actor Afzaal Khan have joined the star cast of the show. Kavach 2: 'Sitara' actor Afzaal Khan joins Deepika Singh & Namik Paul in the show As per the latest buzz, the makers have roped in few more actors to play pivotal roles in the show. TV actress Mallika Nayak, who is currently seen in ‘Kulfi Kumar Bajewala’, will play a significant role in the show. She was also seen as Harshad Chopda’s mother-in-law in ‘Bepannaah’. A report in an entertainment portal also suggested that Sushil Parashar, Smita Oak and Sabina Jat have been roped in by the makers. Sushil Parashar has been part of TV shows like ‘Maryada: Lekin Kab Tak’ and ‘Bani Ishq Da Kalma’. (Source- web) Veteran Marathi actress Smita Oak is fondly known for her role in Ankita Lokhande starrer ‘Pavitra Rishta’. (Source- web) Sabina Jat, who has been part of shows like ‘Thapki Pyaar Ki’ and ‘Woh Apna Sa’, will also be a part of ‘Kawach 2’, the report in IWMBuzz said.
